Frequently Asked Questions

What do we do?
Reed Rowdies is the official basketball “fan club” of Texas A&M Men’s Basketball. We go to games, get there early, get loud and rowdy. During the season we will have camp-outs and tailgates before games as well as travel to a few road games. We don’t have fees, dues or required meetings (we do have one optional meeting in the fall), we’re just a group of basketball fans that do whatever it takes to support Aggie basketball and make sure Reed Arena continues to become the best basketball environment in the country. We also do a lot of promotion for basketball games during the season, if that sounds like something you’re interested in; there will be numerous opportunities to become further involved in the organization through promotion.

How do I join and what are the benefits?
All you have to do to be part of Reed Rowdies is join the listserv. We’ll send out meeting, camp-out, tailgate, game information, etc. and keep you up to date on all Texas A&M basketball events. Additionally, a few days before every home game we’ll send out an e-mail that contains a scouting report with a run down on our upcoming opponents. In addition to updating you on their stats it will get you up to date on their personal lives, with phone numbers, screen names, girlfriend’s names, children’s names anything you could possibly think of that will allow you to be as creative as possible at games.
